When you open the command prompt it open with default path under C drive. How we could change the directory so we could run project and code stored in other directory or drive of the computer. In this we will look on how to change the drive in windows operating system.
- Use the drive name followed by a colon(:) and hit enter. e.g. D:
- Go to the folder/directory in file explorer, then in address bar type cmd and hit enter. This will open the cmd with your current location.
